Postmortem

The inital idea for this game was an outer-wilds like discovery puzzle within a 20 second loop.
The idea was each of the branches taught you one mechanic, and then you had to use them in another branch and also as part of the final solution.
It didn't quite end up how I invisioned but elements of this concept still exist in the final game.
The Macro input system was added near the end to help alleviate some of the time pressure that comes from having to input the final solution within the time limit, although it is relatively lenient with how precise you have to be. (The autoplayback is slightly faster than it needs to be)
It also gives a chance for you to solve the puzzle without worrying too much about precise timing-based input.
I probably should have started earlier since the jam was 3 weeks but I ended up only using mostly the last 48 hours (and around an hour before then) due to being distracted with playing Silksong lol.
Either way, I am happy with how it turned out, and making something with a 20 sec time limit was an interesting creative challenge.
